New Shoes and New Hats

Nothing better than getting your new shoes in the mail the same day your mom crochets you a few new hats. ^^ I love this pattern soo much, and Gloria just loves how warm it is! She's been running around INDIANA in the Winter without a hat. >< -drumroll- Piccy time!

Colors of the Rainbow

Gloria's shoes arrived in the local post office today! Super excited. Black shoes with red laces, pink shoes with white laces and Jack Skellington shoes should be part of our collection by Monday. Hooray. :3 Soooooo I'm currently contemplating taking her with me to town. I wish my carrier was here already. I travel so much and I feel guilty leaving her behind. It's not really me doing the shopping today, however, we're taking a friend to fix his guitar... High potential of being bored, low potential of needing my hands... I guess I'll bring my scarf to wrap her in just in case I need to put her in my backpack. -is waiting for iTunes software update to finish downloading something for my phone- Ugh! Why must you take so very long? -pokes iTunes- Anyhow, super excited about the shoes, now if the sweater and leggings and my carrying case would get here, things would be awesome. Gloria is going to love her welcome pressies. Alright -bounces off-

The New Girl in Town

Well, I suppose I'll begin with the skirt that I made recently. This attempt was much more successful. The first time I tried to sew doll clothes I ended up yelling at the sewing machine, the elastic was plotting against me, and Gloria looked on in horror as her breezy summer dress turned into a rather hideous and shapeless top. This is how I'm spending the time until her fabulous new clothes arrive in the mail. Taking FOREVER! That and going to school. I'm an English major. Gloria and I do a lot of writing together. Recreational and otherwise. I wish I had the time to do some crocheting... I want to try out a hat pattern for her, I just don't have the time. Anyhow- There's the first normal/boring post out of the way. ^^ Smooth riding from here.

There are men in this world that are cruel, there are men who are inhumane, there are men who run countries and empires, there are men who own slaves, there are men who kill and men who steal.
That makes it even more important that I've found this man. This absolutely insane man who is just sweet as a lamb. I'm pretty sure I've been in love with him from the first moment I set eyes on him, I just took too long to see it. Yet, he waited. He knew somehow, probably through his high level telepathic field, that which I did not know myself. That he and I are meant to be.
